The Panasonic Lumix LX3 gets a new firmware upgrade. The version number has jumped to 2.0 and now features a new High Dynamic scene mode and a host of other new features. Personally I never thought I’d see this day.

Apple fanboys and geekazoids would probably have already known this first hand from all the live info/streams around the internet but here is the gist of it for the not so techie.
iTune 9 is out.
The most significant feature is the new App management function. Now you can arrange how your homescreen on your iPod Touch or iPhone look from the computer.64gb model is added to the iPod Touch line.
Lastly, The new iPod Nano with new features such as video/ voice recording, FM radio and a built in pedometer.
Now we finally have an ipod with FM radio. Awesome. -

Running out of space lately on your computer? Challenger is having a promotion for the Maxtor Basics 1.5TB external hard drives. It is priced at S$189 for members.
I personally bought one myself and so far I am pleased with it. Time Machine also works beautifully on this after some simple partitioning and formatting.
If you have not started on backing up your files and documents, better be safe than sorry and start backing them up now. Window users, there are plenty of free backup softwares available. As for Mac users, you can simply use Time machine. its effortless and simple.

Check out how small my new thumb drive is… (Compared to my old 2gb thumb drive and a $1 coin)
This USB microSD card reader from Kingston is by far the smallest that I’ve come across and I’m making it into my thumb drive by attaching an 8gb microSD card in it. Now I can put this little thing in my wallet and bring it everywhere I go.The USB card reader comes bundled together with Kingston’s microSD cards. (The 4gb ones go for about $20)

Facebook 3.0 is HERE! (Available in the SG iTune Store).
It may not show up in itune application updates for now due to caching but you can manually re-download the app from the store or delete it and reinstall the app.
